There is so much that the Cayman Islands have to offer and one of these things are its crystal waters and sugar fine sandy beaches combined with sunny days and warm nights. Of course, where there are beaches there is also every type of water sport you can imagine and the Cayman Islands provide this and more, from swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, sailboat, fishing, surfing and many more activities that will keep you entertained. The Cayman Islands offer some of the best scuba diving in the world. Sport fishing is also a big attraction and there are international competitions held here every year.

Visit the Cayman Islands National Museum in Georgetown and get some insight into the Cayman Islands past. In West Bay you can take pictures of an old Homestead, otherwise known as the West Bay Pink House. Visit the Turtle Farm with the kids and let them see turtles from young to old. In Savannah, you can visit a castle that pirates supposedly built 200 years ago. Visit the blowholes where surf pounds on the coral beach and bursts up through these holes. There is so much to see and do on this spectacular island that you may never be quite ready to leave.

Pirates Week is held during October to celebrate the island's history as a safe haven for pirates. This is also the time of the annual harvest so you have an opportunity to see much of the produce from the farms on the islands. During the spring you can attend the Batabano Festival, which celebrates the Caribbean lifestyle. The Queen's Birthday in June is also cause for celebration as it displays the connection these islands have always had with Britain.

Cayman Islands Shopping and Dining

There are so many dining places on the Cayman Islands that it is like a menu in itself. From the most elegant of elegance to a relaxed family restaurant, you will find it all here. If you want to pick up a quick bite then there are many fast food places that would be more than willing to oblige you. After dining try one of the many shops that the Cayman Islands have to offer. There is nothing you can think of that can?t be bought from the many shops. Pick up a special gift for those waiting at home. Cayman Islands Nightlife

There are clubs in the Caymans that offer American and Caribbean music. In addition there are two comedy clubs and two local theatres with regularly scheduled performances.

Lone Star Bar and Grill has 104-shots on its menu and Ramada Treasure Island Nightclub or the Island Rock disco will keep you dancing til dawn.
