Get a spectacular view of the harbour from the Upper Barrakka Gardens and see the impressive collection of paintings at the St. John?s Co-Cathedral and Museum. Tapestries and frescoes are on display at the Palace of the Grand Masters and for a taste of history, visit Fort St. Elmo where guides are dressed in period costume.

Mdina

Visit a city that is over 3000 years old when you visit Mdina. Here you will find elaborate Norman buildings lining narrow cobblestone streets. Many of the buildings here date back to the 1100?s. The Cathedral Museum houses a collection of Duer woodcuts and the Museum of Roman Antiquities has thousands of artifacts detailing the 1000 years of Roman rule.

Travel to and within Malta

There are flights from all the major cities to Valletta on the main island of Malta. During the summer months there ferry service available from Sicily and Genoa, Italy.

There are regular ferry links to the islands and you can explore these on foot. There are buses that travel throughout the main island, but you can also hire taxis to take you where you want to go.
